2020 Hutchies Training Awards

#The Awards Night

Hutchies Training hosted the annual National Awards night on 9 February 2020, recognising the hard work and determination of our apprentices, cadets and future leaders. The night was a great success, everyone celebrated in high spirits, mingling and reminiscing on the highs and lows of the previous year.

The awards took place at The Outpost, a unique retro styled dive bar which sits within the walls of the #HutchiesBuilt Fortitude Music Hall. The venue was funded and constructed by Hutchies’ very own chairman, Scott Hutchinson as a passion project in 2019 and as such holds a special place in his heart. During the evening guests were invited by Scott to take part in a private behind the scenes tour of the FMH which has been coined Brisbane’s newest and most impressive live music venue.

#The Winners

Every year we identify an exceptional apprentice, cadet and a future leader from Hutchies’ training and professional development programs. Teams nominate candidates who are recognised for consistently performing beyond expectations during the previous 12 months. The selection process gets harder each year and this year was no exception with us receiving the highest number of nominations in the history of the awards. The calibre of the nominees was extremely high and the judges found it difficult to choose the winners. Each judging panel contacted supervisors, peers and site managers to find out more details to help them make the unenviable decisions.

Although there can only be one winner in each category, we would like acknowledge all of the nominees. To be nominated means that they have demonstrated a significant contribution to their team and Hutchies. We congratulate the following winners on their hard work, determination and tenacity over the last 12 months.
